C5C Series Compact Anemometers
The C5C Series cup anemometer is specifically designed for high wind speed applications and industrial use for wind monitoring and alarm systems. The C5C anemometer is machined from all corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel and light weight titanium bar stock, creating a lighter more compact profile. The C5C series anemometer has two ceramic shaft bearings which provide low friction and rolling resistance to give the anemometer a low wind starting threshold. Ceramic bearings also will not rust or lock up in harsh marine or coastal environments.
Two Styles of Rotors
The anemometer rotor assembly consists of the center hub, the three radial arms, and wind cups. The C5C series anemometer rotor is available in two model configurations. The model 63 has heavy duty deep drawn and micro-welded 316 stainless steel wind cups. The model 65 rotor has virtually indestructible one piece 316 stainless steel cast cups and gusseted rotor arms.
One Anemometer Two Outputs
Have one Arklay Richards C5C series anemometer but you need to connect the output signal cable to a PLC and also a wind alarm in another location. Its now possible. The C5CD-1263-2-SP anemometer has two separate signal cables which can now provide wind data to two wind displays or data recording instruments.
